We’ve got two heavy hitters from the goalsports today. But I’m going with the ventriloquist. Why? I don’t know. Mainly because I can’t be certain we’re going to see another one this year, and I didn’t want to forget the fact that there was one.

But a secondary reason has to do with the word “ventriloquist” itself. A very beautiful word. It’s just weird that it’s a word where everyone knows what it means. Because it’s a weird thing to be, weirder than a lepidopterist or a lorimer or all kinds of other things.

Talents find people maybe, not the other way around.
