Well, a couple of things to say about your non-winners today.

One, by the time he was getting ready to retire, Todd Martin was the oldest-looking man-in-his-late-thirties I have ever seen, not only on a tennis court, but anywhere. It is astonishing that until today he wasn’t forty yet.

Two, my new favorite title for a movie I am never likely to see is Extremely Used Cars: There Is No Hope, starring Christopher McCafferty.

Other than that, how can the winner not be Beck? He’s the only Scientologist who’s made it not really matter to his work. He made the best Prince album not by Prince. He’s good on record and he’s good live. And then, there’s this.

Solid.
